Lessons from the women of Sardinia

A Blue Zone, a slow lunch, a glass of red. Notes from a country that has figured out how to live well into a vibrant old age.

Lessons from the women of Sardinia

Sardinia is one of five Blue Zones in the world, pockets of the planet where people routinely live past 100 in good health. They are not eating quinoa bowls and taking ice baths.

What they do instead

They walk to see their neighbours. They eat lunch with their family. They grow herbs by the door and beans in the garden. They drink a small glass of red wine with dinner. They go to bed when the sun does.

Longevity in Sardinia isn't a protocol. It's a way of belonging.

Borrowing it here

You do not need to move to a hill town. You need beans more often, a daily walk you actually take, and one meal a week that nobody rushes.

With love, Serena
